You can feel the spread in your customer list — some would pay triple, some are barely hanging on. Will adding tiers capture both ends, or will it just teach every buyer to pick the cheapest one?
Tiered pricing lets different customers pay different amounts for the same product, which is great until the tiers start cannibalizing each other. Too few tiers and you leave money on the table. Too many and prospects freeze on the pricing page.
